Terms & Conditions of Business
Effective Date: January 2026 | Entity: JD Castings (Jaidev Malleables Pvt Ltd. / Jaidev Precision)
1. General Agreement
These terms and conditions govern all commercial quotations, casting orders, pattern fabrication, metallurgical manufacturing, and delivery agreements between JD Castings and its clients.
2. Engineering Specifications & Drawing Approvals
All castings, machining operations, and automotive assemblies are manufactured according to approved customer blueprints, 2D/3D CAD models, and relevant metallurgical grade standards (ASTM, EN, DIN, IS).
3. Tooling, Patterns & Dies
Patterns, core boxes, and tooling manufactured on behalf of the customer remain the exclusive property of the customer.
4. Quotations, Pricing & Metal Price Adjustment
Standard casting quotations are based on prevailing pig iron, scrap, ferro-alloy, and energy cost indices. Quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days unless a written metal price variation formula is mutually established.
5. Quality Assurance & Inspection
Every casting batch undergoes optical emission spectrometry testing, tensile/hardness verification, and dimensional inspection. Material Test Certificates (MTC) conforming to EN 10204 3.1 are supplied with each dispatch.
6. Delivery & Transit
Delivery timelines are estimated in good faith based on foundry scheduling. Shipping terms (Ex-Works, FOB, CIF) are defined in specific purchase orders.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sri Ganganagar / Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
